Michael Gethers

I’m an applied data scientist with 12 years of experience building data and machine learning systems at production scale. My background is in statistics at UC Berkeley, and my work has spanned the full range from statistical modeling to production ML infrastructure, most recently including work at McLaren Racing and in my current role at Silent Push.

I’m deepening my research foundation in transformers, reinforcement learning, and agentic systems, with a focus on applications to sensor data and infrastructure analysis. This site is where I write about what I’m building and learning.
